Meetup at Shinjuku Station

We will meet at the South Exit of Shinjuku Station, in front of the “Midori no Madoguchi” (Green Window). We will be holding a sign that says “Japan Trails” so please look out for it.

Shinjuku Station has over 1,000 exits and can be very confusing, even for people who live in Tokyo. Be sure to arrive with plenty of time to spare so you don’t get lost.

Izakaya in Shinjuku area

We’ll take you to a local izakaya loved by people in the Shinjuku area.

Heading to the Second Bar

After enjoying the izakaya, we’ll head to a more hidden, local-style bar in Shinjuku.
You can enjoy sake and a wide variety of other drinks in a relaxed and unique atmosphere.

Return to Shinjuku station

You’re welcome to stay at the second bar or move on to another spot if you’d like.
Just keep in mind that the last train from Shinjuku is at around 12:40 AM, so be careful not to miss it.
