Itinerary
We will meet at Asakusa, in front of Burger King Asakusa Azumabashi. We will be holding a sign that says “Japan Trails” so please look out for it.
Start your journey at the iconic Kaminarimon, the massive red lantern gate that marks the entrance to Asakusa. It’s one of Tokyo’s most photographed landmarks and the perfect place to kick off your adventure.
Visit Senso-ji, Tokyo’s oldest and most famous temple. Learn about its rich history, legends, and spiritual significance as you explore the temple grounds alongside locals and fellow travelers.
Admire the elegant Five-Storied Pagoda standing tall next to Senso-ji. While visitors can’t enter, it’s a beautiful example of traditional Japanese architecture and a peaceful spot for photos.
Stroll down Nakamise Street, a vibrant shopping avenue filled with traditional snacks and souvenirs. We’ll enjoy some classic Japanese street food along the way
Head up to the observation terrace for a panoramic view of Asakusa. It’s a great place to see the blend of old and new Tokyo from above.
Take a relaxing river cruise from Asakusa to Odaiba. Enjoy scenic views as you travel from historic Tokyo to the modern bay area.
We’ll finish our tour in Odaiba, Tokyo’s modern entertainment district. You’re free to continue exploring the area on your own, or head back to central Tokyo at your own pace.
